NCBPA is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit trade association dedicated to growing North Carolina's home and building performance industry through public education, workforce development, advocacy and much more.

Advance and represent North Carolina’s home and building performance industry through valuable services to member companies and their employees while also educating and connecting residents, business owners and the general public about the industry’s products and services in order for North Carolina to continue its growth as a national leader and innovator in building performance.

Who does the association partner with?
NCBPA is a proud partner of like-minded state and national organizations that also support this industry and the public.
The association serves as the North Carolina chapter of Efficiency First, a national nonprofit organization that serves to advance energy efficient construction through political advocacy and lobbying.
NCBPA is also a member of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Better Buildings Residential Network, which connects energy efficiency programs and partners to share best practices and learn from one another to increase the number of homes that are energy efficient.

The association proudly operates HomeEnergyNC.org, North Carolina's online portal for home energy information, referrals and more.

The North Carolina Building Performance Association is an association of North Carolina home and building performance professionals and companies seeking to lead high performance construction in the state through quality construction, workforce development, political advocacy, public education and more.
Our goals include improving the quality of homes and buildings in North Carolina so that all residents and businesses can live and work in healthy, safe, durable, cost-effective and environmentally friendly homes and buildings.
