Energy Auditors are experienced professionals that help residents find and resolve problems in their homes related to high energy usage, comfortability, health and safety, and much more.
Energy Auditors are specially trained to understand "the home as a system" and how a air leakage, improper insulation, combustion gasses and other issues found in homes can have detrimental impacts in other areas.
Residents hire Energy Auditors to diagnose energy-related issues in homes. Like home inspectors, Energy Auditors are responsible for diagnosing energy-related issues, not repairing them. However, check with your Energy Auditor to see if their company offers home performance contracting services, which involves correcting the energy-related issues they find.
